Thanatos, also known as the given nickname "Death", Is one of the strongest members of the Reaper clan. He is an exiled Shinigami, now Anti-Hero and a mercenary for hire. He currently resides in The Empire, hidden in society and is constantly pursued by the Jeagers, Elite Seven and Night Raid. With the Jeaders and Elite are try to execute him, the Night Raid is trying to make him join.
Appearance
Thanatos is a muscular and handsome young man with gray eyes, sharp facial features, and neat black hair. When using his powers or agitated, his eyes glow bright purple. He is also almost always seen wearing dark colors, particularly black.
Personality
Despite being rank Shinigami, he is not particularly arrogant and is both polite and easygoing in-person. He is also mostly indifferent to materialistic desires such as fame and fortune and can be very selfless.In battle, however, he is ruthless, slaughtering his enemies indiscriminately, and even somewhat disdainful, as displayed when he taunted Syura for wearing feminine.He is also stoic and quiet for the most part, Thanatos is a person who could be construed as somewhat blunt but also extremely loyal whether it be to comrades or job offers. He also tends to get incredibly offended if he's betrayed by those without honor. Spiritual and passionate despite his Stoic appearance.
Thanatos has a definitive moral compass and generally has a kind and caring outlook. He takes a great interest in the well-being of not only his family, but also his Friends. He is willing to go through great lengths to assist in their development, in order for them to reach their full potential, Thanatos is very protective of his fellow comrades and friends.
Equipment and Abilties
In terms of fighting style, Thanatos is very reckless and most commonly fights using a mixture of unfocused punches and kicks. Thanatos wields Demonic Creation; Demise which is a Weapon that has no form, meaning Thanatos can turn Demise into what weapone he wishes.
When Thanato fight with serious intent, his fighting style changes to more of Advanced fighting style similar to Krav Maga, Although he never uses this fighting style because of his Unique scythe fighting style known as Katate Kama, due to the way how Demonic Sickle; Demise is in terms of combat effectiveness, Thanatos is a Close-mid range fighter, With his incredible superhuman capabilities and abilities, he cannot be underestimated.
- Immense Durability: He is very resistant to all types of damage, as shown when he took a full blow from full power attack form Death Tagool while taking insignificant damage. He was also able to take Mine's attack from Pumpkin that has been boosted several times with only a slight burn to his chest.
- Immense Speed and Reflexes: Thanatos is very agile and he can move so fast that he appears to be teleporting. He was able to keep up with Leone with even trying, with both of them moving faster than the eyes can see.
- Immense Strength: As a Shinigami, Thanatos is a very powerful entity. He is placed at the ranks of the most dangerous beings. Thanatos is powerful enough to take out the Hekatonkheires with only his hands, as well a Hundred Danger-beast without trouble. He was also able to punching rapidly with enough force to tear apart a cliff face, showing Seryu her futile attempt to kill him.
- Master Scytheman: He possesses immense skills in using a Scythe, capable of wielding Demise to its utmost potential, He can wield a scythe with tremendous dexterity and skill, accurately and precisely slicing through the enemies without being hindered by the scythe's heavy weight. - Darkest Dark: Darkest Dark is an ability that lets Thanatos create, shape and manipulate dark energy, usually drawn from inter-dimensional space called Achlys(In greek, Means "Darkness". It can be channeled to a variety of effects as an absence of light, a solid, gaseous and/or liquid substance that can be shaped/manifested in various ways. Seen with Thanatos, he was able to use it a make a temporary scythe, not wanting to use Demise. He was also seen summoning Darkness Being from Achlys' realm.
